Our Story
At Derek’s Dog House, we’re all about bringing the bold flavors of authentic Chicago-style hot dogs to our community. It all started with Derek — a passionate young entrepreneur with a serious love for hot dogs. From day one, he knew that great taste starts with great ingredients. That’s why he partnered with Vienna Beef, a legendary name with over 100 years of hot dog excellence.
But Derek didn’t stop there. He took his commitment a step further by enrolling in Vienna Beef’s Hot Dog University, where he proudly became the youngest graduate to date. Now, with the skills, knowledge, and top-quality ingredients, Derek’s Dog House is serving up hot dogs the Chicago way — the right way.
Our Ingredients
Since 1893 Vienna Beef has made their Franks and Sausages the Old-Fashioned Way, in small batches with only the very finest ingredients. Nothing artificial, no artificial colors, flavoring, or fillers. We also source our Poppyseed Buns and Condiments from Vienna for a proper Chicago Dog.
